I'm at my father-in-laws house on Long Island. He's anxiously waiting for DSL in this area, but Bell Atlantic doesn't have it yet. He worked for the phone company (BA) for four or five decades, and says they're installing new large connection boxes all over the area (about 10 x 10 or larger) which he thinks is for DSL and fiber optic connections. Sounds like BA is investing heavily .... the future for DSL looks very bright ... hope WSTL can ramp up fast enough.

In a talk MZ gave in Feb., his comment was ramping up supply was THE problem but with the TLTN acquisition, they should be in a VERY good position to handle it PLUS outsourcing. Economy is tight ... hope they can find good outsourcing resources.

best to all WSTL longs, leroyt
