Re: "eplace, "I still don't think $1 is out of the question"
I'm with you on that, especially after the interview. Sander's basically promised that we will be pleasantly surprised by the results.
When the street sees that AMD's results more than match Intel's, and that further earnings gains are likely, the stock will respond.

From Q4 to Q1 there will be an increase in Athlon sales of 400K to 500K. From Q1 ro Q2 it will be a 600K to 800K increase and flash will grow just as much %-wise and more in $$$ because of the larger base. Is there any way Q2 can be down from Q1? I don't think so. The guidance on increased depreciation and expenses was very modest. Both flash and CPU's should grow revenues 20% and 15% quarter to quarter even with ASP declines."

Comment: Agreed...and Re:"Is there any way Q2 can be down from Q1? No and same goes for Q3 and Q4...The very real possibility exists that come Y2000 year end, AMD will have strung together 5 succesive record breaking quarters...Awesome story in the making here and that's why AMD is a bargain at double its current price of $71!
