Gary, When I placed my order at Wit, the reference number was given at the end of the
transaction along with the date and time. When I opened my account at Wit (god forbid
that I have to do that again), I placed $2000 in it. None of one's CMGI shares need be in
the WIT account...all mine happen to be with Schwab. By the way, I figured CMGI to be
at $300/shr by now. I remember when I first bought CMGI, it went up 100% in about six
weeks then right back down to the price I had paid. Undaunted, I doubled up and the
rest is history. $7400 investment became over $250,000 at one time. I wonder if there is
anyone who bought AOL in the beginning and is still holding the stock all through its
ups and downs. That's what I intend to do with my CMGI investment. Reward is proportionate
with the risk one is willing to take. Personally, I don't think CMGI is risky; I think it is
money in the bank. lee
