Re: Someone just told me that AMD was the subject of discussion about 20 minutes ago on CNBC...Apparently someone from the NYSE was talking up AMD suggexting that there is all kinds of room for AMD in the marketplace along with Intel and that AMD's Q1 earnings will exceed street estimate of $0.48 by a handsome amount (think he was suggesting Q1 eps of $0.70)...This info. was relayed to me by phone so it is a little sketchy... niceguy, At about 9am they talked to Bob Pisani in the pit and he included AMd with IBM and CPQ. To me, it seems like the ANALysts have given CNBC the thumbs up that they can finally say good things about AMD. I've noticed a big change on CNBC's part over the past few weeks, lots of airtime. chic hearne
