I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Copy,I know it is really hard to loose a very loved pet, but I have a good feeling that Bonnie will come through with flying colors and so will her new offspring. You'll have a whole new family to keep your mind on pleasant things again. Give my best to Bonnie and I wish you both the best of luck with the delivery.

Coonaz

P.S. Tell Bonnie I said "weeeennnnn ah iennnneeee uuumm mm" she'll know what I'm talking about!

dangergirl,

It is certainly our pleasure to meet Miss Bonnie, she is absolutely beautiful. When I finished reading I felt like I was laying down my readers digest.

Now we understand where ya been and what ya been doing,

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you and Bonnie. For added good measure I'll throw in a little prayer.

Thanks for sharing your story. One of the best real life stories we've had on the porch.

dealer.

Nice, heartwarming story, Dangergirl. Good for Bonnie - and good for the filly. And good for you.

Dangergirl, Best of luck to you and Bonnie. Will you post a picture of the new baby when it arrives? I went this morning to look at a place with a friend. She has a jumper that she boards. Through a neighbor we found out about a for-sale-by-owner house with a small pasture - its perfect for her and her horse. Anyway, the current owners have 3 horses (one's a foal)...I don't remember when I have seen anything cuter. Its hair was still kind of "fuzzy" in places...he was playful and gentle, what a sweetie. Good luck, and definately keep us posted.

Bonnie did not take the lost of her foal well, nor did I. It is very heartbreaking to lose a foal at term. Bonnie ran the fence line and neighed for the other mares` foals.

then bonnie walked into a bar. bartender said, "so... why the long face?..."

thanks for sharing what is probably one of the most appropriate posts ever put up on this ol' porch... if there is such a thang... (there ain't)

love,

-polvie

Hi Dangergirl
That's a sad and happy story all rolled up into one. Thanks for sharing it. I look forward to seeing the picture of mother and child.
Regards, Rose.
