Thanks David: But is renovating like building from scratch? If so, I'd love to have your help on questions. One of our friends bought an old old home in S.Utah and redid it. He said it was MUCH MUCH worse than building from scratch...took longer and was at least as expensive but probably more so. (Like us he did most of the work himself or with friends.) He got a good deal: the lady who was selling the house sold it at a steal but only with the restriction that the house could not be torn down. (It had such wonderful memories for her she wanted it to live on. It will, it looks wonderful now but what a job he had!!!!!)
