johnd -- the media will not allow it to go away. With luck boredom will set in and few will pay attention. That may slow the drop but will do little to get those to buy..

"DOJ thing is forgotten in the short term"

If you're out of msft, waiting, say, for the price to cross the 50 day MA, what would it matter to you what the DOJ does. On the other hand, if you are loaded up at this time, I suppose it would matter a great deal what the money managers & doj does. The more stock you own, the greater the pressure builds as it goes down. Experienced players don't put themselves in a pressure cooker.
