Never been to one of them but was thinking it would be worth it if some of us got together. I was thinking of driving up and stay with in-laws.

BI, >Anyone planning on going to the Annual Stockholders' on May 3? I'm thinking of it, as it's only an hour or so from my house.
It would mean taking a personal day from work.

Is there much value in going to them, besides for people like Diekiembe Mutumbo.

To your 2nd question, absolutely, to me. I attended 3 stockholders' meetings last year (took a vacation day for each), and got a lot of insight into the next 1 to 3 years for each company. Something about being 20 - 30 feet from the CEO, speaking live, instead of seeing him on CNBC once in a while. Also, all 3 had excellent slide presentations about their vision of the future. And, the audience questions alone are worth the price of admission (free, and they even have goodies). None of the 3 were EMC because I live in Northern California and go to the local ones. Is EMC's in Boston or Hopkinton?
