Mine just follows the trends. The trend has been down since we broke ~168 on the daily basis. I won't start pumping both fists till we close over ~90 or so for a few days.

Those trader friends of yours shoulda bailed long ago...they must not be following their TA systems <GG>
Alot of people say they TA trade..but then they ignore their signals and look for next weekly or monthly support to justify holding. Treat is as a big video game (w/ discipline) and you do much better is my experience. I've been building systems to trade with since ~1990...so I've seen alot come and go you might say.

<<..and trust me, i know a bunch of VERY season traders that got called out of their positions over the last week... oh, and they all religiously use TA.>>
I bet they all just loved the Investor's Corner article in yesterday's IBD titled "Stick to Your Sell Rules When Market Tops." All that was missing was a tag line on top saying "Bob Harrell this means you." Talk about rubbing salt in a wound!!! I had about $1million taken off the table when stop loss orders triggered in the last couple weeks and then I stupidly put it all back on the table plus some more. Had I stuck with my discipline I'd have had the $1million plus a lot more I would have made buying in Tuesday afternoon instead of desperately selling. I'm blaming it on temporary insanity induced by my 3 week oak pollen headache.

Today has made my head feel a whoooolllle lot better.<VBG> I'm back above the third purchase I made at 90 1/4 soon after I told you guys I was resisting the temptation to buy more.<Blush>
