I can't say anything about the S and P 500 rumors but you just have to look back the decision to Veritas to that index. The committee saw what happened as the stock tumbled in a big way. They are now less fearful of adding large cap high flier stocks. That is why I feel it should be the next addition. The S and P committe has now tested the waters. In addition, those that like to do this type of trade have probably already sold some of their their JDSU position that was meant just for such an event. Certainly, the VRTS story was a tough lesson (Cramer of street.com learned from it too). That is why i bet the traders have stopped playing this trade. Therefore, my prediction is that JDSU will rocket on this news, given what happened to VRTS. Now that is logical. <ggg> good luck
