VRTS was in the mid cap before it got added to the S and P 500. JDSU is not in the mid cap, just as Yahoo and AOL never were. I don't know if QCOM was ever in the midcap.
This is to the best of my knowledge.

However, I am certain that JDSU was/is not in the midcap.

Interesting rumor.

'Traded' '02 100 Leaps today in favor of JDSU shares. The time\volatility premium was just to rich to hold them any longer.

Also went to +10% cash. Not convinced by the Nasdaq recovery.
