QCOM up big on modest volume, Coonaz

. . . . 15,729,300

It sounds like the move up may not be solid. I'll still take it.

We should keep getting northern motion toward earnings on April 18. But this lack of volume today certainly does indicate a retracement some time soon. 140 will probably get tested again. But I don't know when . . . . and I question a possible retesting of 130.

There's been so much good news fundamentally in the last 3 months! I just don't think we're going to get a conference call that will have the same effect as the "slump" word had in January. The conference call may even hint at a Nokia deal.

We're going to test 160 again in the near future!!! That's clear to me. Remember, there was "cluster buying" above 160 last week.

The bottom line is that QCOM is a strong stock, Nokia is cornered, pros are afraid to short QCOM now, QCOM has moved into the institutions bigtime, and we're getting solid upgrades frequently now. Motorola's anticipated blowout earnings announcement this Monday will add to QCOM's run next week. JMHO.

I was glad as hell during this crazy week that I was 95% invested in QCOM. None of it is covered. I'm trying not to "fall in love with a stock." But it's so difficult because I think there are 5 to 10 bags left in QCOM.

I still prefer women to QCOM.

Rock on,
John
