Hi Jean, Thanks for the information. I might be making too much of it but maybe i will just share my opinions on it. I am just speculating.

First, i also believe you about employees commenting. I think we already knew they are at maximum capacity. What might be news is if they got more efficient this quarter and maybe that is what employees really mean.

When JDSU management says they are capacity contrained, it could mean either one of of two things.

To the outside world it is a simple --too much demand not enough capacity.
However for the employees and management, it is different. ARe employees just running around and putting out fires or are they more productive?
They see how much product is getting out the door and recognize changes in efficiency either through trial and error or better manafacturing processes.
..and people know the difficulties that present themselves in this business with low yields etc...
Maybe yields are improving---could be many things happening within the plant.

I take the comments as positive. It probably means that truck traffic is also increased.

We also know that insider selling by officers of the company is low or even non-existent. That tells the real story. Furukawa does not even have representation on the board of directors.

Maybe the employees were all buying today. <ggg>

Just my opinion.

OT--Jean, MSFT has probably bottomed and should move up a little bit going into earnings. I don't see 100 in the near term but after the remedy (or at that time), we could start seeing this one move above 100. Just my guess--it is hard to predict.
