I also suspected that what we saw last week was a rotation away from technology by the fat cats who were busy listening to Abby and dressing their portfolio. I did not count on them dressing down technology so much in the new quarter. Mr. Softee did not help. And what we saw on Tuesday was a vacuum created by the massive rotation of big money. Oh, I won't dismiss it because it could happen again and it serves as a warning to me anyway. So I am watching Level II and with the Naz down 350 plus points AMAT was green in the low 90s and people were buying it hand over fist. Someone was taking everything they could get. It would no go through 85 with the Naz down 500. But it was trading at 85 during the mid March madness melt pre- Fed. meeting. It should have traded lower. It did not. BUY IT and every freakin' semi equip with beta!!! It was an amazing thing. This just reconfirmed my analysis. I knew these saps would come back to the earnings after they deworsified. Earnings = techs. Yeah, go buy financials and drugs but I knew they could not resist one more taste of tech. It is just human nature. And they were back today. And Justa does not mind being the coat check boy for a few weeks so to hold their baggage only to sell it back to them for a hefty mark-up when they want it back. What a move by AMAT today. I knew it would make a new high. It was a beautiful set up. Nice teasing the past few days as supply overhead was taken out. They brought right back to $110 with a volume vacuum at 3:00 today and I could see them lining it up for the big push. And, Kaboom!!!!! And during the last 15 minutes every semi equip was lighting up the screen printing money.
