This was known to Bill and Steve before they decided not to settle. In them I trust to make best decision for long term.

This article and others like it fail to understand that softee is not going away AND these companies in one way or another are BUSINESS PARTNERS. "could sue, could sue,
kudsu, kudsue, bonsai ..."

There is something that troubles me in Judge Jackson's most recent Orders. He has requested MSFT to turn over to him copies of the 27 drafts of the settlement offers that MSFT has made.

Normally, the trier of the fact is not privy to settlement negotiations. That is why independent negotiators are selected. There are a number of historical reasons for this.

Oh, and tech, congratulations on getting up to speed so quickly in Microsoft Corporation affairs...
