E, whatever you offered was over a half century late and had NO impact on the tragedy you described. Pardon me if I don't share your shame and angst for something neither of us had a thing to do with. I love to read history and I believe valuable understanding can come from it, but, I am not inclined to FEEL one way or the other about most of it -- this applies whether the history involves Jews or others. I made the point in my last post that living in the past doesn't make much sense to me. You're welcome to live any way YOU like.
