The sixty minute chart showed an extremely bullish Bollinger Bands reading. Very tight, narrow channel, like something was about to burst. Signal was very strong and I placed two buys at open. (second after making sure overall market was positive). Only regret is I did not snatch up those July 90 calls while at it.
MACD was oversold, but not a decisive indicator on its own.

it's not about the "book"...reading it and doing it are not in the same ballpark. Keep it KISS too, I've been down the "way too complex" mode.

funny that you bring that one up..I once attended a conference where the developer of the MACD indicator, Gerald Appel, spoke. I posted a bunch of notes on his view in using the MACD indicator on the Systems & Strategies thread. let me see if I can find the old posts!!

slower line is just a moving avg. or Ema of the first line....they call it the signal line.
