I just listened, and it's basically a lot of info pulled from the prospectus for the IPO.

Essentially, the hook is that Bookham will make components out of chips with "non-proprietary circuits" as opposed to the "lasers, mirrors, amplifiers, etc. components that JDSU has to meld into a component.

Investors in Bookham are reported to be INTC, CSCO, and SFA.

275 million expected to raised via IPO; They currently have 5 million in revenue and "While Bookham counts LU, NT as customers, it has a long road ahead of it in terms of ramping up manufacturing capacity, sales force, etc. in order to take on JDSU".
