Today's Stock Rumors JDS UNIPHASE CP $121 7/8 $10 3/8 More rumors of JDS Uniphase being added to S&P 500 Friday, April 07, 2000 3:10:10 PM EST Quote Msgs News Rumors are circulating again that JDS Uniphase may be the next company added to the S&P 500. This rumor last circulated back on January 12th and at that time there was no speculation on whom JDS may replace. This new rumor today has the firm pushing Seagate out of the index. This email I received is basically what others have confirmed they have heard. It didn't hurt the stock price in any case. Shorts beware. Ted
