How about Ocean? "My Bonnie lies over the ocean...My Bonnie lies over the sea... <g> I've always liked that name for a horse!

Dangergirl...I love my friends horses' name

"When Stars Collide"...but everyone calls her Ernestina

Somehow our Porch Mantra "This Old Porch" (is that right??) doesn't sound like a good name for a horse, so I'll nix that idea, but how about "Lollypop"? Too cutesy?

Name That Foal Contest:

I can Name that Foal in 6 notes, Jeff...

oops wrong show... that was "Name That Tune"...
Remember that show?

How about naming the foal Xerox or Mita in honor of Copy?

Actually, I get the feeling it was pronounced C-Oh-PY.
If that is the case, perhaps something to honor her.
I don't think Dr. Dave or Dr. Joel would care for the name Co-Pay so we will rule that one out.

Personally, I think Clappie is a wonderful name for a horse. Especially if that is the sound that Tennesee Walking Horses make when they walk...

However if it is female, DangerGirl might be more appropriate. After all, some day it may have to go through the dangers of bringing foals to life.

Here are a few other ideas:

Porchie
Dealer'sDream
HighVoltage
JimWillie
CoonazDaq
HiYoPolvie
Mr. r.edwards
HampsterDance
GoodInvestment
RainDrop (as in RainDrops Keep Foaling On My Head)
Fidelity
Datek
Yahoo (however, every time a cowboy yelled this, it would come running...)
SaraLee
Proctor or Gamble
SteelyDan (I'm running out of names, but that is who I'm listening to as I'm typing this...)
As I look onto the back of the CD cover, I notice a lot of cool horse names like:
Kid Charlemagne, Peg, Rikki, Deacon Blues, Black Friday (stock reference as well), or Babylon Sister.
However, a Steely Dan song title that don't fit the name of a horse would be Bodhisattva (sounds like a NY City cab driver, doesn't it...)

Good Luck lovely DangerGirl!
Keep us posted.

By the way, your post was the best thing I read all day.
Thanks.
