Freeus,

I agree with Uncle Frank about staying in the market. I took some beating in the market this week and I am sure we will see more of it in the next weeks, months, and years ahead. But today I gained 9 months worth of my salary and gained 150% over the initial money I invested since the beginning of 1996.

What a day for QCOM. The story is getting better and better every day. I don't know much about the technical stuff when it comes to wireless world but that is the beauty of gorilla gaming according to the author of the manual: find a gorilla and stick with it until the story changes.

I like SI because I am learning a lot from everyone but on the other hand I feel that this great medium has made everyone of us micro manage our portfolios. I wish I could go back to the way most people at work are managing their investments. At work, people get a 401k report every quarter and decide on the changes they want to make. With that type of window we would have avoided the ups and downs of the week entirely. I look back at some of my trades and I see some mistakes I have made in the past few months. Few things I purchased like ELON that I should not have and few thing I sold that I should not have (CSCO being one of them).

But everything has its positives and negatives. Without SI I would not have found this great thread in April of last year. LindyBill had made a great post in the CSCO thread and I decided to follow up on what else he had posted before and the rest is history . . .
