CD: Good to hear that you tax person follows us here ..... did he find it because of you, or just because he stumbled across us? Hope he is doing well.

This market still has me very very cautious. Not taking any significant positions over night. Sorry to see this week end as I made money every day ..... but by being very nimble. I will not hold a trading position beyond to Naz down ticks .... just not worth it. Sure I miss out on some good runs, but I have always been about consistency. If it means that I only make $2k on a good day, and miss a $16k run (like VRSN today), so be it.

Remember traders, that regardless of how well you do, it only takes ONE bad trade to seriously damage, or completely erase, your trading account. Must maintain perspective, always live to trade another day.

You're right CD....as all my trading is in IRA's, the tax issue is nonexistent, but, it is important I continue to improve my ability to take and cope with losses. I really have gained in this area in which I have always been lacking. This week selling off roughly 1/3 of my entire portfolio(all at losses)just in case we hit another major selloff was a big boost. At first I thought it would be horrible to suffer through, but as I went on to the next stock and the next one it grew easier. I'm reminded that's what they say about serial killers...that they say the firt murder is the hardest and they get easier with each new kill. Didn't mean to get morbid, but that's just what came to me as I was writing this.....obviously time to get off the old computer....have a great weekend Dave.....tuna
