Comment: Stable flash and 13 million Athys will do it...i.e $5.5 billion revenues and eps of $4.00 to $7.00 for Y2000...An eps of $4.00 equals $600 million profit, an eps of $7.00 equals $1.05 billion profit...Bingo...$1 billion is not sounding so much like its off the other end of the scale any more...(P.S. a $7.00 eps with a P/E of $50 equals $350!!!)...Is AMD undervalued at $75? Is the colour of grass green? Is the pope Catholic?(Same answer applies to each question, imho, and with the same degree of probability!)

Jozef, <Half a billion for the year is more achievable.> Just to clarify, with 150M shares out there, $500M in profits leads to an EPS of 3.33. Sounds very doable, especially since AMD had an EPS of 0.45 for last quarter alone, and it doesn't look like it's going down anytime soon. Tenchusatsu
