I agree that the necessary disclosures were on the record to provide for the dilution. What was not on the record was the likelihood that the stock would run so far so fast in the 4th Q to bring all the potential o/s into the money. It happened, and in the sands of time the additional capital raised by the conversions with so much opportunity ahead of VARL will provide excellent returns for us shareholders. Keep in mind that this is a very small-cap firm with a history of conservative fiscal management; now increase the equity and working capital of the firm, match that event with an exploding demand for product and see how management responds. My bet is that the response is more aggressive and more beneficial to shareholders than the actions undertaken without the new, timely capital. Let's not rue the financiers their return if it makes ours even better than it would have been.
I, too, added some this week. (Not nearly as much as I wanted to, for VARL has become my largest holding) Even though the second half of the year should be much stronger than the first half of the year, I think we will be very pleased both with the actual Q1 results and the forward look in the cc. And all of this with significantly better performance in 2001,2002...wow!

nope . . . all the analysts I spoke with as well as my internal numbers missed the actual share count by more than was explained by the options activity.

**bought more shares at around $20. **

Dogman,

My mother-in-law thanks you. Actually, I got some at 20 and some at 18.5 on not-so-super-Tuesday. The dilution has probably worked in our favor, given we've been able to pick up more shares.
