Taxman, I had originally thought that based on my success as a position trader with stocks, I would do well with long options. But after paper trading for nearly a year, I wasn't happy to be fighting the huge spreads and watching my long options wither over time, even in a bull market. A stock trader would never tolerate such huge spreads, and hopefully they will narrow in the options market in the future. But, that's just my experience and opinion at present, and I am delighted that the long side works for you.
