Huge story in Monday's IBD (which arrived at homes of subscribers today) about the exploding demand for bandwidth and the telecom stocks involved in optical technology. LU and Nortel named as leaders. Was hoping to get some cheap LU shares on Monday or Tuesday. If this story creates a run on the stock, which IBD stories sometimes do, then LU might make a nice daytrade going long. IBD also reports $1.8 billion left mutual funds after Tuesday's stock market downdraft, the second big fund outflow to occur so far this year.
