Comment: Looks like the AMD paradigm shift has been confirmed...News lines worldwide are just beginning to twig to the notion that AMD is perhaps the most interesting developing story in the marketplace today...News services are just now sending their dogs out to scratch beneath the AMD surface and what they are finding beneath the surface is a comapny with a major-league plan in hand and world leading products (Athlons and its derivatives the Spitfires and T-Birds, and flash memory contracts with Alcatel, Cisco etc.) with which to fulfill the formidable plan objectives (i.e 13 million Athys, $5.5 billion in revenues and $4.00 to $7.00 eps in Y2000) and produce a string of FIVE successive record breaking quarters to the end of Y2000...I'm certainly not counting on any significant near term weakness...On the contrary, one might wake up one morning in the next week or two (perhaps April 13 gap open) and find AMD north of $100...AMD has now entered its revaluation phase...Not a period during which one can count on any significant price retracement...When an undervalued tech stock gets discovered by the popular business media sources, as AMD now has, it is not at all unusual to see the stock run further and faster than any reasonable forecast would predict...AMD is undervalued, is a high quality (world's leader in flash memory and microprocessors) tech stock and is just now being discovered by the business news media...It remains to be seen just how fast and how far AMD is going to run...but the more I think about it, the more I think Goutama's April 85's (gutsy move) may prove to be a very rewarding purchase decision!
