RE Selling Puts

The only thing one HAS to keep in mind is that selling puts does not GUARANTEE profit. Sometimes stocks fall below strike price. It was easy to forget this in the bull market. If one is prepared for this, i.e. have cash on hand, it is still a good strategy in a flat to mildly bullish market.

I do like Ed's method of selling all commons and write puts ATM. I did that on a couple of stocks last December when I thought Y2K may have a serious effect on the market. But my problem is that I cannot afford to sell all because of the taxes. I wish they will allow me to sell puts in my IRAs.
