I'll admit that I find the $12 share price for the Medsite IPO to be less than I anticipated. I expected the high 'teens and fewer shares issued but the rotten environment for IPOs may have caused this. I wouldn't be surprised if the IPO is temporarily delayed if the Nasdaq shows further weakness. A double-bottom is probably in the cards and then we can get back to business.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if this environment finds the price of iTech to be relatively unaffected by the Medsite IPO. iTech is a micro-cap and they take it on the chin in a bad environment no matter what the story is. Everyone is also expecting a run-up into the IPO and even more if the IPO goes very well. Well, Mr. Market may not be impressed by that. Sometimes when you expect the market to reward for a job well done, it stares blankly back at you. And then at some future time when you least expect it, it just starts to run and for no apparent reason. It's why I hold and don't try trading this one - too much room for error. I want all my "bags" to arrive at my destination with me.
