Jo Ellen T:

Yes, I watched Rukeyser and he pretty much said that the people who were watching the TV and panic sold into the mayhem on Tuesday got burnt. He said that most people should only watch 1/2 of TV a week for stocks and that's on Friday after the market is closed. I gather he meant his show, But he was saying that then you won't sell into stupid frenzies and selloffs.
He's right selling into those selloffs is crazy. That's the time to buy. I picked up some EXDS, VRIO, ATML at some very nice levels.
The NASDAQ is going to have these selloffs at least once or twice a year. It went through it in August through September of last year too and that seems so far away now. Everyone said that the internets would never get back to their highs but they hit them within 3 months after that. The NASDAQ can't go straight up all year so it needs these 10-20% correction at times. But these are only buying opps.
The high techs are the place to be but you have to be able to ride the wild swings. In the end these companies will make a lot more gains than the old economy stocks. Here's the ones I like to hold: AOL EXDS VRIO WCOM SUNW MSFT CSCO EMC VOD ATML INTC
