Recession Watch? Investment firms like Merrill Lynch push us closer when the company analysts recommend financial stocks. Financial stocks are sensitive to interest rate hikes. Surely, we all know Greenspan will raise rates at least another 25 basis points. What will happen to the prices of bank and financial companies after the next Fed hike?

In the meantime, ML creates a tech wreck!

Good news is that AMAT and other tech stocks like TXN look cheap.

Even better news is that that a hike in interest rates will not hurt AMAT or even TXN's earnings, in my opinion.

Cheers!
