XTO's situation is common among the mid cap EnP's. Most of the ANALysts have not updated their research since projections of $18 oil and $2.33 NG. OEI is another of MANY examples. Made $.25 in December quarter yet ANALysts expect $.24 in March quarter. There is no excuse for this kind of incompetance. Took money out of the market last Friday to pay off the house. Change of plans today. Didn't think folks would sell these off just before earnings. I am not only seeing selling, I saw someone dump a chunk at market. Specialist took him/her to the cleaners. Happy to be wrong, and to be shooting fish in a barrel today. Can't believe how easy it is to make money on these.
