DS,

<< I ran the W98 Second Edition upgrade. That's the sloppiest upgrade of any software >>

Mine was flawless. Total time about 1 hour. It solved a problem with the ability of my system to recognize a TAPI enabled Nortel 2 line phone (which surprised me, but proved a Nortel tech right).

I decided against the W2K upgrade because not only does it not support a "Busmaster IDE controller", it doesn't support a lot of things (as a few friends of mine found out). One of these days, I'll attempt it, but probably after the first service pack release or when I replace my platform with a system that has it preinstalled.

Meantime, Singhs' lead over Duval has narrowed to 1 and over Tiger & Ernie has narrowed to 3. Sounds like we have some GOLF shaping up this afternoon in your neck of the woods.

Whoops, scratch that. Tiger just bogeyed. He and Phil are 4 off the pace. TV time in 15 minutes.
