Here is the list of after-hours trading activity. The list is not complete, as my database is personalized to include only what I'm interested in. I suppose I should expand it to include all Canadian securities, but I'm happy to use this list to test the idea.

So, these are TSE-only that traded at least 300k during Friday's session. The non-puppies you see here some of the more expensive issues that I track.

The percentage figure you see is the percentage of total day's volume that was transacted after-hours. The list is sorted on this and I'm only posting those of 1% or higher.

Allan, whatever you have time to provide will be appreciated by all. I didn't mean to criticize, I was just musing.

It would be interesting to see if you can find some sort of pattern with after hours trading, Allan.

So far I havent been able to ascertain much. It just seems to be a convenience. Because you can only trade at the close price you see some interesting manoevers. For example, I bot WIM on Friday and was hoping (praying?) that it traded at 0.25 on the close. If it didnt, then there would've been almost no after hours action because most people wouldnt want to sell at 0.245. Because it traded last @ .25, a large portion of the offer got taken out after hours. I think many brokerage houses uptick things late so they can play it after hours if they think it may be a gapper.

Other than that obvious stuff I havent seen anything out of the ordinary with it.

Take care and best luck.
