Someone mentioned 25% equity as the point of no return. Hard to believe people will expose themselves to that kind of debt. I'm amazed that people would set themselves up like this--but greed makes people do all sorts of things that are hard to imagine.

Have you ever heard of bankruptcy? If you push a debtor too hard you end up with nothing.
