Aus, I do not want to go into too many details (I have some proprietary stuff in this field), but you use two laser beams, one "strong" to write, one "weak" to read (depending on the nature of the optical medium of course)this is all in the public domain for years now, it is not even necessary to have a circular memory medium (that is the drive type standard), it can be a square with a single line array of micromirrors and a linear CCD for reading. In any event, it seems clear that this outfit is still thinking in the box, rotate the stuff. Zeev
