No Koan...you could only buy at .73 after hours (of course, someone would have to sell to you at .73).....that's what I mean by "trades can only be executed at the day's closing price"....it would not matter what price you were willing to pay, .75, 1.00, etc....after hour trades on ITF could only be executed at .73......have I made sense yet?

Koan - Even better yet - I have seen a stock close at 65 but the B/a at close actually is 67 x 70 - Guess what - You cannot even sell into that bid at 67 - YOu must place your sell order at 65 and it is possible that you do not get filled if there is not a bid at 65 - an alert floor trader for thr firm that represents the bidder at 67 may move the order to .65 and match up your offer.

at the same time you may actually take out another 65 bid and the 67 bid does not get filled even thiugh it was the best price bid.

I think the NYSE has sell at close orders meaning the order is a sell at the close price - I would love to see that option - a buy or slel order at close price. I have likely done 50 aftermmarket trades - generally when I want to be fluch on a day - I will sell all or part of a position that I had a limit order on eralier or I havebought in aftermarket also.

Note - I find that there is a bout a 5-10 minute delay before the aftermarket kicks in on the TSE.

ALL - I had the 17" and the 14" screens - Just replaced the 14" with another 17" identical to the one I have. - Then I am building a shelf for two more 17" on top of those - maybe - LOL

ITF is dual listed on the TSE and the CDNX. CDNX stays open an extra half hour so remember this when trading heats up next week.

In after hours trading on the TSE you can only trade at the close price which for ITF on Friday was .73.

The rumour on the street about ITF is they have snagged all the land surrounding the PFN discovery. Makes sense because Harry Barr controls both companies.
