Yes, my dear friend, I do know exactly what you mean--which is why I posted as I did. Hank Reardon would have vomited and Dagny Taggart (bless her sexy little unreconstructed little soul) wouldn't have given him the time of day. The cue is Bill's retreating behind the "I don't know how technical you are," as the standard response to a really challenging question. Try answering with, as I have, "I don't know how technical you are, Bill." It makes him crazy. Hank Reardon? Don't make me laugh! I know Bill and he would rather be IBM in the late 70s than Hank Reardon. Therein is the eventual downfall....
