Wouldn't selling 1.5 million or 2 million Athlons allow Jerry to say "We've achieved our goal"?

That part I agree with. It leaves room for surprise during the CC. What left me confused was that he restated the goal of 1.8 million for Q2. If AMD really made (and sold) 1.5 to 2 million chips in Q1, I think he would not say anything about Q2. By stating the target of 1.8 for Q2, I think the Q1 number will be around 1.2 to 1.3 million.

PS: Will AMD categorize Spitfire in Athlon category? If that is the case, and the goal for Q2 remains 1.8 (Athlons + Thinderbirds + Spitfires), they are shooting way too low, or this is an example of extreme sandbagging.
