What you need to know about cookies Some Web sites store information in a small text file, called a "cookie," on your hard disk. Cookies contain information about you and your preferences. I delete cookies regularly through Ontrack System Suite, a marvelous utility package. Before that, I used Clean Sweep. Deleting cookies is easy, and various companies provide the relevant utility.......

LoL...'non-optimum', that's funny, TLC. What do you know about die.net? [if it's not a secret, of course- just kidding1] What's a 'spiked browser'...? These are a couple of the current burning questions...<G> I made no formal or veiled accusations of 'lying'. -but I am exploring possibilities. Regarding the babybath post, posters have a right to be as dramatic and gratuitous as they wish to be and all the backpeddling and personal testimonials as to each others character won't change my opinion that the post was written in a questionable tone...my opinion. I didn't pursue it, rather I was subsequently told how much enjoyment could be had by 'disturbing me'...we even got some more gratuitous, inappropriate descriptions of a child's body. Context. I'm not buying into the "crazy cow" theory! Ya'll can Milk that meme for the Next Generation...makes me no difference! It is a typical, tried and tired way of attempting to undermine my credibility...which matters not to me! [or to my 'grandmagavone']...! "Now, here's what I think maybe the deal is: somebody is hassling you. Somebody in real life. Not somebody on SI. (This is a guess on my part, but I'll bet I'm right.)" I hear ya, and I think the two dimensional approach to intimidation would work esspecially well! You may be right, and if so, I believe its most certainly linked to Cyberspace/this forum... It is not a Good Thing...but it's not necessarily a bad thing, either...I am glad to know that the technology already exists, for those techintelligencia who decide, for whatever reasons, to use it maliciously. I see where their inspiration may have come from...the formula: Try to make an ass out of somebody by 'creating a hostile environment', very subtly, then deny, deny, dENy! Regarding 'cookies', You'd be , ooops, be so proud...!! I learned how to watch the cookie hailstorm and decide to accept or cancel, individually. Those darn cookies come from the strangest places...! You know TLC, somehow, I think that the 'cancel' option still gives some kind of information to the sending server...BWDIK? Thanks for your thoughts and kind words on this, Amanda.
