Price decline is way over done

That viewpoint is simply a matter of opinion. Mr. Market expressed a different opinion.

In my opinion, I wouldn't be interested in PMTC until I see positive signs of a turnaround, and I would like a buy-in at single digits. Of course, I may never get what I'd like. <g>

These guys warned the day of a market correction.

True, and I take it that your point is that the market correction exacerbated the PMTC price decline. Possibly true, I suppose, but since there will be no second chance to warn, we'll never know for sure how true or not that concept is.

Shorts will cover real soon.

I haven't looked at the short interest figures for PMTC. But I suspect that any "conservative" shorts may have already covered (hence the "bounce" after the decline). Shorts that are speculating may still be waiting for the conference call to happen or actual publication of the quarterly results, expecting that the stock may decline further when more information is known.

Windchill is a winner.

Within reason, agreed.
