Capital Alliance $1.4-million (U.S.) financing Capital Alliance Group Inc CPT Shares issued 4,942,406 2000-04-10 close $3.89 Monday Apr 10 2000 Mr. Toby Chu reports The company has closed its private placement of 2,133,333 units at a price of 75 U.S. cents per unit. This private placement was previously announced in Stockwatch Jan. 18, 2000, as 1,866,667 units at 75 U.S. cents per unit for total proceeds of $1.4-million (U.S.). The private placement was oversubscribed by $200,000 (U.S.) resulting in 2,133,333 units at 75 U.S. cents per unit for total proceeds of $1.6-million (U.S.), or approximately $2.32-million (Canadian). The completion of this private placement is in addition to the completion of the private placement reported in the company's news release in Stockwatch Feb. 25, 2000, for total proceeds of $1.65-million (Canadian) and the completion of the private placement reported in the company's news release in Stockwatch March 6, 2000, for total proceeds of $480,000 (Canadian). These three private placements combined for total proceeds of $4.45-million (Canadian).
