Hi Scott,

fb here. Dieter and I live in the same town and used to work
together for the same insurance company many years ago. He &
I have had many discussions about you and some of your posts
since you left Novell. Dieters position about you was quite
favorable, while mine was not so favorable because I thought
you had converted over to the "enemy" MSFT, or at least I read many of your posts as being let us say "less objective"
toward BOTH MSFT and NOVL than prior to your leaving NOVL.

These last two posts, #30979 and 30980 have cleared this up
for me and I now have to agree with Dieter as to where you
really stand. These two posts are OUTSTANDING, IMO, and I for one will e-mail BOTH of them to Eric Schmidt.....BUT...:

I have many times attempted to send e-mail to Dr. Schmidt and to this date I have NEVER received even so much as an
acknowlidgement of THE COMPANY receiving the e-mails...much
less from Dr. Schmidt. I thought I had his correct e-mail address, but perhaps I don't, so would you or someone reading
this please post it once again and sorry for the redundancy.

Also, do you or anyone have any idea what's happened to Paul
Fiondella?? Did he get told to "shut the hell up" after his
"hint" about Drew?? Also, can you please enlighten us...IS
DREW PART OF THE POLITICAL PROBLEM???NOT-WITHSTANDING HIS TERRIFIC TECHNICAL ENGINEERING MIND AND TALENT??

Scott, please keep posting this kind of VERY DIRECT information. In my very humble (like Quad) opinion, this is
the kind of information we need and everyone, technical or
(as in my case) non technical can understand and get a grip
on. Dieter and I can BOTH attest to how very difficult it is
to make any headway in such a "closed" political environment, because we both suffered our ENTIRE careers in
such, except it wasn't as easy to move on as it is for folks
like you, so we made a career move or two, but only landed up in the same s--- as before.

Good luck and keep up the good fight Scott

fb, LONG ON NOVELL

Scott.....

>>I do believe that if someone would just break this log-jam, and carve out the cancer, the *real* employees of Novell would step forward and make this company what it could be! Everything that is needed is in place ... it's just being held back by a few people, in key positions, who seem to be afraid of a future that they don't understand.

Scott C. Lemon>>

Scott:

Your personal testimony as a key witness to the energies holding Novell back is finally laid bare for all to see, weigh and consider.

This took considerable guts on your part.

Now do yourself a favor: "Let go and don't look back."

The political power/control cancer that's been holding Novell back has now been officially exposed.

It's now up to Eric and others to finish the job.

Let those who are in the right position to do something break up this log-jam.

Forget about me. I have no more control over Novell than I do over you. But the energy and conviction which you just shared will richochet and virally spread around the world.

I think we are at the edge of a massive transformation for Novell.

Now it's time to turn up the power, light and ENERGY as we continue to share information and news along these exciting new paths as these ongoing transformational revolutions continue to sweep across the world, setting the stage for this massive New Paradigm of SERVICE to get officially recognized.

Thanks again.

Peace.

GO!!

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the answer.
I hope Mr. Adams puts this page into his scrap book
"Why Novell sucks"

Scott, thanks for your honest and interesting posts. Thanks for the news on the quarter as well. I wonder if the "slow" start to this quarter is based on the heightened expectations. Ie, not slow compared to last quarter, just a bit slower than expected. Hmm.

Hopefully NOVL will have the kind of post-Y2K jump in orders that the PC makers are seeing.
