With a structure (..compared to WebStreetSecurities at $14.95 for unlimited..) like this..:

Online Trades
$19.95 per trade
Up to 1,000 shares
$.02 per share for entire share amount over 1,000 shares

Broker Assisted Trades
$29.95 per trade
Up to 1,000 shares
$.02 per share for entire share amount over 1,000 shares, plus $10.00

Touch Tone Trades (IVR)
$19.95 per trade
Up to 1,000 shares
$.02 per share for entire share amount over 1,000 shares

I'm not a whole lot impressed.......

How do they plan to compete with Suretrade, WebStreet, etc.?

John :-)

NATS thank you for the heads up on this one. I anticipate we will considers serious consolidation in this arena over the next couple of years. That is what I have proposed to AMFR.
There are a lot of online brokers; especially the small ones that already have the infrastructure in place.

If AMFR doesn't do themselves, then someone else will acquire these small online firms. There are a lot of them that are profitable.

Cheers
