Jim, I get the distinct impression that you did not read my posts very carefully. I am not anti-Rambus. If the costs come down, Rambus will be a good solution for graphics and network cards. It is not a good solution for performance motherboards, because it has longer first beat latency than DDR. DDR will offer better performance on a motherboard than DRDRAM. I have no idea how the IP issues will play out. I do know that Rambus has caused a great deal of damage to their image by threatening customers and potential customers with lawsuits. Scumbria
