American Airlines to offer Dell PCs to employees
American Airlines announced Friday that it has selected Dell Computer Corp. (Nasdaq: DELL) to provide PCs for its subsidized home computers/Internet access program for its 100,000 employees. The first Dell PCs will arrive at American employees' homes this summer, the company said. The standard PC will be a Dell Dimension desktop with a 500MHz Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) Celeron, 15-inch monitor and Hewlett-Packard Co. DeskJet 610CL color printer. The program's Internet service provider has not yet been announced. -- John G. Spooner, ZDNet News

OTOT
For those who have not found enough stock selections, opinions, and advice on Yahoo and the thread, here is a little known jewel:
Philips, ( One 'l', no f), or PHG
For two years they have been selling off divisions, getting lean and mean. Make light bulbs which can be found piled high in the aisles of Home Depot etc. Peter Lynch would be proud of this one.
I know they have lots of money since they send employees overseas business class(about $5k to Europe). No. 2 son
works for them (kind of).
If this isn't convincing enough, my neighbor(an attorney) owns PHG. I would guarantee this pig( errrrr,ah, phg) will go up some more before the 4/1 split, except there is a ban on stock guarantees as I have never ever seen one. In fact,
the prospectus and disclaimers on stocks (example Slab) reads like the opposite- look out below.
So remember, if PHG goes up farther, you heard it here first- if it goes down I don't wanna hear about it.
