Michael, I calls 'em as I sees 'em. I am a bit notorious for coming down hard on some people so, it is only fair that I compliment those posters who exhibit, IMO, correct thinking and expressing it well.

Unfortunately, when we have an electorate that will elect some one like Bubba Clinton a second time, it boggles the mind to think of what they may do in the future. Over the years, I have seen good, decent, and dedicated men go to DC to be members of congress, and within an amazingly short period of time, become corrupted. Congress doesn't want term limits because they want to stay in the limelight just as long as they can possibly cling to it. The illusion of power seems to take complete control of them and they don't want to let go.

I read something in the Houston Chronicle this morning that, I believe GW should take to heart. Some of his older supporters are concerned that the team behind him consists of his close buddies, and associates, who do not have the moxie for a national campaign and will not be tough enough on him to make him say, and do, what he needs to do to put Gore away. Even his father has expressed this concern. I hope he gets the message and forces the issues that are important to the people. Don't lay back and respond. Take the initiative and CHARGE!!! Blow Gore out of the saddle!!
