>>That sounds minor to what I am reading here about MyTrack. It must be a nightmare to be helpless and in the dark about transactions and balances. Why do the MyTrack commercials persist if these problems are so prevalent? Doesn't the SEC have any rules or regulations to protect investors? All trade statuses should be immediately reflected in accounts. If a transaction is accepted and disappears, the SEC should shut down the operation. Why should anyone have to trade under such horrid conditions?<<

I was using ETrade for the longest time (with pcquotes for data feed).. Etrade was a piece of garbage when ever more than 5 people logged on. But numerous times their CEO/VP/PRes etc would go on the air and say nothing was wrong. Flush the catch, reboot, sign up with another ISP etc etc etc.. Considering my speciality used to be telecommunications before, I was totally lost as how they could even mention it was the users fault at all. Considering also I had the same problems using ISDN/T1.. And get this.. A T3 connected to the san jose NAP. I dont think anyone has won with etrade that I have heard off..
