Amanda/lorrie, I believe you may have missed the point of my post. I realized that the woman, despite her obvious sense of being in imminent danger, was mentally ill and that my helping her leave the hospital would lessen her chances of getting the help she needed. The most heartbreaking thing about paranoia is that the person does not understand that they're ill and attempts to tell them that people aren't out to get them usually fail. That is my point. Perhaps you understand my reason for talking about it here.
