It might be wise when Thunderbird uses DDR if benchmarks blow away camino...there is a possibility that Intel/Rambus will be a disaster...
Invesment is about risk,and there are always speculations as you have stated above.If If If.What is happening now are 54 different pc systems with Rambus technology for sale now.That is not speculative,while your assumptions are.

What is AMD going to do with the engineers they're hiring with RDRAM knowledge/expertise?

Hi Scumbria; I can hardly wait to get a Thunderbird for my next home machine, with DDR it will totally rock.

I've felt for a long time that the RDRAM fiasco was a huge plus for AMD, a significant minus for INTC, and a temporary blip for RMBS.
